Amanda Arrou-tea is a talented hyperrealist figurative painter born in San Sebastián, Spain. Her paintings explore the movement and interaction of figures in water with a focus of escapism and refuge. Her passion for art began at a young age when started expressing her emotions through oil on canvas. Her detailed artworks are deeply connected with her feelings and emotions, which she portrays in her original oil paintings through water, light, and form.
Arrou-tea studied Fine Arts and continued to expand her knowledge by participating in exchange programs with Erasmus and Seneca scholarships in France and Spain. These experiences allowed her to develop a broader understanding of different art forms such as photography and video, which influence her artworks.
Arrou-tea moved to Mexico for a few years to continue her artistic journey. She immersed herself in the mystical energies and vibrant culture, which influenced her work greatly. After years of study and curatorships, Arrou-tea relocated to Berlin, Germany, and now focuses solely on her artistic career. Her paintngs have been exhibited in several group and solo shows worldwide.
